‘I did nothing wrong to Poland’!

‘I did nothing wrong to Poland’ – these were the last words of the former Commandant of the’ School of Eaglets’- Brig.Gen.Pil. Szczepan Ścibior, spoken just before he was executed on 7th August 1952. Today we pay tribune to the hero who was falsely accused of action against the Polish Nation and then shot. This particular date, 6th November, will earn its place in the Polish history forever. On this day, Brig.Gen.Pil. Szczepan Ścibior was buried with the military honour in the grave near the Garrison Church of Virgin Mary of Loreto at the  Military  University of Aviation.

On Tuesday, November 5 this year, a nationwide student academic conference was held at the Military University of Aviation (MUA): “Col. Pil. Szczepan Ścibor and other Polish Army officers repressed during the Stalinist period”. This event was organised as part of the funeral ceremony of Brig. Gen. Pil. Szczepan Ścibor.

Visit of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force Delegation

On Friday, October 18, 2019, the Military University of Aviation (MUA) was visited by representatives of the Air Force of the People's Liberation Army of China with Maj Gen Dong Li, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force of the People's Liberation Army of China, as the head of the delegation. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the delegation with the training process of MUA cadets, the training base, infrastructure, development perspectives and educational facilities.

Inauguration of the academic year 2019/2020!

The official inauguration of the academic year 2019/2020 at the Military University of Aviation was held on 3 October. There were many honourable guests at the ceremony including Secretary of State of the Ministry of National Defence Tomasz Zdzikot, representatives of public administration authorities, members of Parliament, commanders of military units , Rectors-Commandants of military and civilian universities, as well as representatives of the clergy and representatives of local authorities.

European cadets at the Military Academy of Aviation

At the Military University of Aviation (MUA) on September 22-27 this year there was a visit of foreign students from European military universities who took part in the "Civil - Military Cooperation in Aviation Safety" course as part of the EMILYO so-called Military Erasmus.
